model text recipe Project 3

First gather an audience of young athletes. ( in the article the author is just presenting facts not many uses of pronouns if any at all.) The purpose is to right a story about over a top athlete and his big upcoming game between them and their cross town rivals. "week 4... speed to shine."
this quote in the article shows one of the biggest purposes of the article. the author organizes the text in a very professional way but going over facts and not adding their own opinion. this is obviously and article and come conventions used were cool graph of player in the center, "college football", stats at the bottom, his heisman hopeful stamp award, ESPN, text, headlines on the side.

project 3 blog post

What role does fear play on athletes and their sport?
How does fear impact an athlete and their sport?
Can fear cripple you or hold you back?
Is the strength of fear subjective to the person?
Will playing without fear make you better or worse?
Are you always able to overcome fear?

I want people to understand the strength and the levels of fear and if it’s a necessity and is able to be overcame.

The genre I chose would be an ESPN sports article that reaches out to the younger audience.

I think the modes that each genre will use will be; texts, pictures, bold lettering, and strong diction.

I am now thinking of doing something like a parody of ESPN something like ESPN 7 and fake spin off players like LeRon Games and Stephan Burry. and in the article compare both of their fear one being strongly against it and one being strongly for if. The onion is a good example of something i might do
